we are
Born and raised in South Salem, Jake and Leslie Buckendorf, along with their three children, have always had a deep love for the holiday season. What started as a wild idea from Jake in 2019—planting 23,000 Christmas trees—has blossomed into the dream of opening their very own tree farm. After years of hard work, dedication, and plenty of family memories made along the way, we are excited to announce the grand opening of our first-ever U-cut and pre-cut Christmas tree farm this November 2025. The whole Buckendorf family can’t wait to share the farm with you, and we hope you enjoy every moment of your visit. From choosing your perfect tree to creating new traditions, we’ve put our hearts and souls into crafting an unforgettable experience for your family this holiday season!

Nestled on our farm, the fire pit is the perfect spot to relax and unwind, basking in the warmth of the flames while enjoying the crisp winter air. Whether you're warming your hands with a cup of hot cocoa or sharing laughs with loved ones, the fire pit creates the perfect setting to savor the moment. It's a place to reflect on the joy of picking your tree, tell stories, and enjoy the simple pleasures of the holiday season. After all, there's nothing better than spending time with family and friends, surrounded by the beauty of nature, while the spirit of Christmas fills the air.
For our guests 21 and over, we’ve got something extra special—Jenn N Juice Mobile Bar will be on-site, offering a variety of festive holiday beverages to enjoy as you unwind around the fire pit. Sip on a warm spiked cider, a holiday cocktail, or your favorite seasonal drink while we take care of the heavy lifting. As you relax by the fire, we’ll shake and bale your tree, making it ready for transport—so you can simply enjoy the moment without any worries. It’s the perfect way to cap off a day of tree hunting and start the holiday season with good cheer, great company, and a little something extra to toast to!
Every Saturday and Sunday, come get into the holiday spirit with the sweet sounds of Tessa Johnson, a talented local artist who will be serenading you with classic Christmas tunes on her guitar. Whether you’re strolling through the farm picking out your perfect tree or warming up by the fire pit, Tessa’s beautiful live music will fill the air with festive cheer. Her soulful renditions of beloved holiday songs are the perfect soundtrack to your visit, making for a truly memorable experience as you soak in the magic of the season. It's the ideal way to enjoy the holidays with family, friends, and the enchanting sounds of Christmas!

Every Saturday and Sunday morning, our mischievous farm elf, Nordmann, will be hiding somewhere among the U-cut trees, and it's up to you to find him! Can you be the first child to spot where he’s hiding? The lucky kid who finds Nordmann first each weekend gets their Christmas tree FREE! It's a fun way to add a little extra magic to your visit—so keep your eyes peeled and your holiday spirit high, because you never know where Nordmann might be hiding next!

Santa & Mrs. Claus
Get ready for a very special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus during our Opening Weekend! They’ll be spreading holiday cheer and making memories with families, so be sure to stop by and take a photo with the jolly couple. Santa will be there to hear your Christmas wishes, while Mrs. Claus shares her warm holiday magic. It’s the perfect way to kick off the season and make your visit even more memorable.
